Formtray and Google Forms
Formtray is a no-code builder in the browser, on a phone or a computer, with a closer pass at style and an auto-graded quiz from notes or a paper. Google Forms is the form inside Google Workspace: templates, question logic, quizzes, colours and fonts, embeds, and response charts a team can share.
Both include templates, multi-page forms, quizzes with an answer key, shuffle, file upload, a choice matrix / question grid, email notifications, and CSV export.
A Pro mark means that Formtray item is on the paid plan.

Is Formtray a Google Forms alternative?
For a survey or a quiz you write yourself, both can do the job. Formtray is the closer fit when you build on a phone, style the form in the builder, or generate an auto-graded quiz from notes or a paper. Google Forms is the closer fit when you need Workspace sharing and response charts with a team.
Can Formtray turn class notes into a quiz?
Yes. On For Educators, paste the notes or upload one JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF. Formtray drafts a multiple-choice quiz. You review the answer key and marks, then publish. The upload is not stored.
Does Formtray embed on a website?
Yes. Copy the embed snippet from My Forms (next to Copy and QR) and paste it on your site. A button opens the form in a modal. You can also share a link or a QR code. Formtray does not offer custom domains or in-form payment collection yet.
