Formtray is the lower published price, with unlimited responses on free and a quiz from notes or a paper. Fillout, Youform, Jotform, and Typeform go further on payments, a domain you own, and more than one editor.
Paid from is the monthly price each site leads with. Fillout’s $15 is the yearly rate ($180 a year). Yearly rates elsewhere: Formtray $10 a month ($120 a year), Youform $20 a month ($240 a year), Jotform $34 a month ($408 a year), Typeform $28 a month. The top row is the highest self-serve plan before a sales quote. Typeform Growth Flow is $379 a month and is not in that cell. Youform’s free responses follow a fair-use limit. Typeform’s free plan is capped; the pricing page does not print the number, and Basic includes 100 responses a month. Jotform free is also limited to 5 forms, and its countdown is a widget that can block or submit the form. Lifetime is $149 once, when that offer is on. Prices were checked in October 2026 and can change.

How does Formtray’s price compare?
Formtray Pro is $12 a month, or $120 a year. Lifetime is $149 once, when that offer is on. Free includes unlimited forms and submissions. Fillout’s first paid plan is $15 a month on yearly billing. Youform Pro is $29 a month, or $20 a month yearly. Jotform Bronze and Typeform Basic are $39 a month. Their higher self-serve plans run to $75, $89, and $129 a month. Enterprise quotes are separate.
What does Formtray have that they do not?
A quiz drafted from pasted notes or one JPEG, PNG, WebP, or PDF, with negative marking. The upload is not stored. A countdown that ends the attempt is also on Formtray. Jotform can do that with a countdown widget. Unlimited responses on the free plan match Youform’s fair-use free plan, and sit above Fillout’s 1,000 a month, Jotform’s 100 a month, and Typeform’s capped free plan. Pro can send each new submission to Google Sheets, Slack, or Notion, or to another app with a webhook.
What do they have that Formtray does not?
Card payments in the form, and more than one person editing. Youform, Fillout, and Typeform can also publish on a domain you own. Their native app lists are longer than Formtray’s Google Sheets, Slack, Notion, and webhooks. Formtray Pro can use a handle on formtray.com. Formtray does not offer custom domains or in-form payment collection yet. You can embed a Formtray form on your site with the dashboard snippet.
