Connect Google Sheets, Slack, or Notion
Send each new submission to Google Sheets, Slack, or Notion (Pro).
Connect an account
Open Profile → Connections, or connect from Configure → Post-Submit Actions. Choose Slack, Google Sheets, or Notion and sign in when prompted.
A Google Sheets connection is not the same as signing in to Formtray with Google. You can connect a different Google account from the one you use to log in.
Disconnect from Profile → Connections when you want Formtray to stop. Later submissions are not sent. Rows, messages, and pages already created stay in that app.
Turn it on for one form
On Configure → Post-Submit Actions, turn on Slack, Google Sheets, or Notion. Each form can use one Slack channel, one spreadsheet tab, and one Notion database.
Slack posts a summary of the answers. If the channel is private, invite the Formtray bot with /invite @Formtray, then refresh the channel list.
Google Sheets can create a new spreadsheet or use one you already have. Paste the spreadsheet URL, then use that sheet.
Notion needs the database shared with Formtray before it appears in the list. Map each form field to a database property. Unmapped fields are left out.
Ratings are sent with the top of the scale, such as 4/5 or 8/10. In a Google Sheet, that stays text so it is not read as a date.
Use Test before you rely on it. Delivery logs on the form keep successes and failures for about 30 days. A failed send does not reject the respondent’s submission.
Webhooks still work
Need another app? Pro webhooks send the stored submission to Zapier, Make, or a URL you provide. That payload keeps rating answers as numbers.
